About us
A diaspora association rooted in cultural pride, scholarship, leadership and service.
Our mission
To improve the quality of life, in healthcare, education, economic prosperity and personal and career development, for people living in our local communities and in Grandcess, Grand Kru County, Liberia.
Our central office is in New Jersey, and we are made up of chapters across the United States and internationally. Like our forefathers and mothers, the association is rooted in cultural pride, scholarship, leadership and service.
Alongside education programs and scholarships, we aim to teach the sons and daughters of Grandcess about our culture, our history and our perseverance in the face of overwhelming obstacles, and to help families reach the resources that let them strengthen themselves and their communities.

Working through chapters
Through collaborations and partnerships we address the challenges and concerns of our communities. Our chapters across the United States and Liberia collaborate in leading social projects for positive impact.
Combined resources and talents
While individual deeds and accomplishments are not to be overlooked, collaborations and partnerships truly transform communities, people and institutions. Our combined resources and talents provide direct services that respond to the immediate and often urgent needs of others, and we advocate on behalf of people who feel voiceless.
Partnerships across two countries
We form partnerships and increase alliances that serve to rejuvenate and strengthen the continued development and prosperity of communities in America, in Grandcess, in Grand Kru County and in Liberia, West Africa.

Chapters may be formed for any appropriate country or geographic area: local, state, county or region.

Northeast Chapter, serving New Jersey, New York and Philadelphia.
Minnesota Chapter, serving Minnesota and the Midwest states.
Our central office is in New Jersey, USA.

Projects
Solar street lights across Grandcess, vocational training places at the Monrovia Vocational Training Center, a virtual Kru language program, and a new public school at New Cess.
