Bah–tee-oh-Bah-tee !!!
The time has emerged for we, sons and daughters of Grandcess, Grand Kru County Liberia to step into action and take the reins of instituting projects of impact and development(i.e. healthcare, education, agriculture, infrastructure, technology, etc.) within Grandcess and the extended communities. It has been said that, we the people of Grand Kru County are highly educated, well-raised, and mostly suited for leadership (apart from being trouble makers, pepper eaters & hardheaded people). Unfortunately, during the recent decades, those sayings haven’t materialized into anything physical and/or abstractly foreseeable for the current residents, our elders and future generations.
We are all aware of the duties and responsibilities we have for Grandcess. We all love and cherish Grandcess; but now more than ever, we need to set aside our personal and collective biases to accomplish great things for our people. The fact that we all will someday be remembered for the contributions rendered is an ultimate heartwarming experience and testament that our children will be discussing in their time.
It will take all of us working in one positive direction to visualize and realize the opportunity awarded us to service our homeland.
Our aim is to take pro-active measures to help build the capacity of youth and women in Liberia as well as stimulate the local economy of Grandcess and the surrounding areas . Our focus will be to provide access and opportunities to in-demand trainings and skills needed across Liberia and Grandcess (i.e. carpentry, plumbing, electrical, road maintenance and hotel management). Grandcess will have people already skilled in areas of development prior to the arrival of opportunities funded by the government of Liberia, NGOs or external entities.
Additionally, the development of a Recreation Center will be designed to support continue development of youth, women and children. The space will include training rooms, a library, computer lab, cold storage, offices, renewable energy room. Additionally, a kitchen and bedrooms will be included to education youth on life skills and job readiness for the service industry. We see this as a building block to the growth of a vibrant society and economic achievement. These development projects will bring opportunities for jobs to the young and local people.
We are a great people and we should stand up and pursue greater things for the livelihood of our community. It is time to gather our resources and work to betterment of Sekleapoh.

GOALS / OBJECTIVES
The below goals serve to meet some challenges facing the people living in Grandcess. We have spoken directly and indirectly with constituents/leadership and everyday people who have a shared interest in seeing Grandcess uplifted. We have prioritized three goals as shown below.
